| ABOUT THE AUTHOR: |
| The Dog Tales Series is created and written by Michelle Miller.
Other exclusive author works include the book, On My Way To The Cancer Monument,
which she wrote between 2000-2005 and published with Timberwolf Press. The PARQ
Cancer Education Series© is a learning umbrella which houses her original works, including
several other book titles in development. Michelle’s written works also include
columns, articles and reviews featured in an array of local and national publications such
as Coping With Cancer Magazine, RED Magazine, the Allen American, and Plano
Star Courier. She has been a frequent guest of radio shows around the country,
as well as network television news broadcasts in Dallas on CBS, ABC, NBC and others.
She writes about healthy living, cancer prevention-awareness, adoption, and quality of life
whether with, or beyond cancer. Michelle is a cancer survivor and when not writing new
Dog Tales books, she is also the Executive Producer and host of award-winning radio and television
shows, Monumental People Coping & Living With Cancer and Thrive, a public access
broadcast. Both shows are syndicated and available around the country. She
has a B.A. degree in English Literature from the State University of New York and a M.A. degree
in Humanities-Literature from The University of Texas. She is currently writing her
doctoral dissertation for a PhD in Health Administration. Michelle lives in the Dallas
area. Her favorite types of exercise include walking, swimming, and lifting weights.
Her favorite food is sushi. In her spare time, she likes to travel, especially to New
York to see family and friends.
